Can you imagine?
Think of how many cans it takes to get $300 in recycling value. It’s a lot. And it’s a job that most of us frankly can’t be bothered to do. However, a few times each year, Kristmas Town Kiwanis Club members rally their volunteers – and trailers and some sturdy gloves– to organize a community wide can drive.
It definately isn’t a fun job but the company is good. Ultimately, apart from raising a few hundred dollars each time, the group helps to recycle and put these otherwise destined for the dump beverage holders to some good use in the community.
